Larrabee State Park is located in the heart of the Chuckanuts. It boasts 2 freshwater lakes, 8100 feet of saltwater shoreline, tidal pools, coves, beaches and is a popular camping destination. It is the oldest Washington State park. The sunsets are epic.
This kayaker and his dog were out enjoying a not-so-rare mild and clear winer evening along the shores of Larrabee State Park. The perception is the Pacific Northwest is always gray, gloomy and wet, especially in the winter. However, we get plenty of gems like this.
